Our Gift Boxes and Products

Can I customise what products are in my gift box?

Yes. Just contact us to let us know what you’d like. If you’re a company, we can customise any configuration of gift boxes you’d like. We are also able to brand your gift box with your colours, your logo etc. Visit our Business Enquiries page to learn more.

Do you ship everywhere in New Zealand?
And what about overseas?

We can ship anywhere in New Zealand including rural addresses (Rural addresses will take longer to ship. See our Delivery page for details).

The nature of our products means we cannot ship overseas. We can, however, deliver your gift box to you and you can organise overseas shipping.

What will the packaging on my gift box be like?

Every gift box is individually packaged with the greatest of care taken to ensure it arrives to you in perfect condition. We use boxes that are robust enough to make the journey to your place and the products are protected with tissue paper. All packages are then packaged in an outer, robust cardboard box marked as FRAGILE. Touch wood, we haven’t had any problems yet. However, if you have had a breakage or something is damaged, we would like to know about it, so please take a photo of it and email it to us.

Can I include a message with my gift?

Yes. On each product page, there is a field where you can include a personal gift message. Type that into the space provided and we will print it onto a white gift card. This will be sent out with your gift as a personal gift note for the recipient. There is no charge for the gift card. 

Can I brand my gift box or personalise it?

Yes. On each product page, there is a field where you can type in someone’s name, a company name, or a special occasion. This comes out as a gloss text on the matt box as you can see in the photos on the Branded Gift Boxes page. Please note that you can only have up to 9 characters for this. There is a cost of $10 for this additional service. If you would like your logo printed on the box, just type “LOGO” into the product field. Then email me your logo in a vector format (.ai or .eps) and I will arrange a proof to be sent to you with your logo on the box.

Can I order multiple boxes and ship them to separate addresses within the same order?

Yes – many of our corporate clients do this when they want to send a celebration gift box to staff or clients. You do that by visiting our Bulk Orders page where all the information about ordering mulitple boxes for your desired budget is available. You can also download our Bulk Order form for easy ordering. What is the shelf life of my gift box?

While some of the products in your Spirited Gifts gift box won’t last forever, our promise to you is that the contents of your gift box will always arrive fresh. We make sure of it by rotating our stock to ensure no product is ever sent within one month of its best before date.

If you are not going to be using the contents straight away, we recommend keeping the contents in a cool environment (20˚C or less). Beers should always be kept in the fridge at all times between 3˚C – 5˚C since many craft beers do not have preservatives.

Can I order in bulk, eg, for a corporate gift or special occasion?

Yes. We have a number of corporate clients who order for their staff or customers – we can even brand the gift basket with your business logo.

We also cater for bulk orders for special occasions such as weddings or baby showers where people want to give all guests a special gift. We can design a gift box as large or as small us you want.

Is there a discount for ordering in bulk?

We do sometimes offer a discount for large orders. Contact us to find out if you qualify for our bulk order discount.

Delivery and Payment Details

How will my order be shipped and can I track it?

We use a courier service to ship from our door to yours. When the courier collects your gift box from us, an email with a tracking number is automatically sent to the email address you supplied so you can follow the progress of your delivery.

How does delivery work? What is the cost and how long will it take for my gift box to arrive?

Please visit our delivery page which lists all delivery options, costs, and timeframes. If you want an urgent delivery, please contact us and we’ll be happy to arrange this for you.

How do I pay for my gift box?

We accept Visa and MasterCard using a platform that provides significantly high security. Also, your credit card details are handled securely meaning we do not have access to them.

Can I specify when my gift box is delivered?

Yes. Many people choose to do this when purchasing a birthday gift box, anniversary gift box or a box from some other celebration. In the checkout, there is a field where you can add ‘Order Notes’. Just let us know your desired date and we will attempt to deliver the gift on that date.

Please note that we will make every effort to meet your required date, however, courier holdups and the likes are beyond our control.

Do you accept international payment?

Yes. You can order and pay from overseas but we only deliver to New Zealand addresses.

I’m having trouble with my payment going through, what am I doing wrong?

The most likely answer is that you have not entered your details correctly – please do a quick check. If you are still having trouble, please use our contact form on our Contact page or send us an email. Hopefully it’s not a problem at our end, but your input would be greatly appreciated.

Can I collect my gift box up from Spirited Gifts?

We are sorry but our liquor licence prohibits pickups / collections of any of our gift boxes. We are are an online only business.

Do you have a Privacy Policy?

Yes. We do not share any client information (your name, email, or contact information) with any other part. That information is used solely to ensure your Spirited Gifts NZ gift box gets to you safely and on time.
